How to find and join Pinterest Group Boards

How to find and join Pinterest Group Boards

If I had a time machine and could go back in time to when I first started blogging, I would have discovered the power of Pinterest Group Boards much much sooner. They're the low hanging fruit of Pinterest Marketing.

When I started joining and pinning to Pinterest Group Boards in my niche, I saw results right away. My pins started getting re-pinned and people were clicking through to my blog posts.

Group boards work like any other board on Pinterest, except there are multiple contributors pinning content to the board. They already have a built in audience - even before you've built your own.

Tailwind Tribes for Bloggers - Grow Your Blog Traffic

Tailwind has one awesome feature after another! I recently wrote a blog post detailing my experience with the Tailwind Pinterest Scheduler. You can read it here. Then I started diving into Tailwind Tribes for Bloggers. Let me just say - they're amazing!

I've been using Tailwind Tribes to grow my blog traffic through Pinterest and to keep my Pinterest Scheduler filled with quality content. This weekend, I started a Tailwind Tribe for Bloggers & Creative Infopreneurs to share and discover each other's content.

According to Tailwind, tribes are in the very early stages - currently in Private Alpha Testing. Tribes are so new that there's not a lot of info on them yet. When I first discovered Tribes, I had a lot of questions. So I put this post together to share what I've learned along the way.

My life before Tailwind: Unorganized pinning all day every day, or getting a free hour and blasting out 3 days worth of pinning all at once, at like 1pm on a Sunday. Is that even an optimal time to Pin? No idea. Tailwind knows though:)

My life after Tailwind: Pinning twice a week for 1 hour. Pins get pinned at optimal times throughout the days and week. My Pinterest reach and engagement grow. I work on the areas of my business that need my focus, and I have a life again. Oh, and I actually enjoy pinning again!

I’m on Pinterest every day. I must see thousands of pins per week. But there are only a few bloggers whose pins are so well branded that I instantly recognize them on a regular basis. Does this happen to you? A pin catches my eye and I go “Oh that’s so-and-so blogger!” I love their content and trust they’ll add value, so I click through to their post.

Your readers are scrolling through an endless sea of options on Pinterest. If you want to boost your chances of getting their attention and clicking through to your blog, you need to brand your pins on Pinterest. Branded pins are more recognizable and look more professional.
